Coming this Easter … Motswako heavyweight HHP is set to bring Thaba Nchu to a standstill.
The country’s most respected entertainers will be flocking to Thaba Nchu next Friday to provide Free State residents with an unforgettable experience.
The annual Thaba Nchu Easter Festival is the brainchild of the 051 brand. It was conceived three years ago when the organisers saw a gap in the province in terms of promoting local artists.
The festival is also a community development initiative. A series of events will be held at the Mmabana Stadium from 09:00 on Good Friday.
Motswako heavyweight and multi South African Music Award winner HHP will be headlining the event. The Bosso Ke Mang hit maker and his band will perform hits from his sixth studio album Motswafrika.
The event will be hosted by Afro Café presenter and Bongo Muffin member Stoan Seete. The impressive line-up of national artists includes DJ Zinhle, Dr Malinga, Oskido, Lulo Café, Vetkoek & Mahoota, and Black Motion.
Event organiser Gao Mokone said he is very excited about this year’s event and how they have integrated entertainment and community development.
“The event will be bringing the country’s most celebrated entertainers to the Free State. We will be showing the people in the province the rarely explored town of Thaba Nchu. The event will also be showcasing the province’s most talented artists. We will be giving the audience an unforgettable experience.”
Local artists who will entertain the crowd include Divine DJ, T-Lee, Shaxe (OFM), Kalvin K, Fariki, Stone, ZuuTheeXclusive, Stevonic, Slatz, Sfate, Juwishsto, Immortal, Bongaini, Sub Zero, Sf@te, TwoZeroTwo, Looney B, Hlokoza, and Manyape.
