EGYPTIAN FASHION HITS WELKOM

L Azael Collections in partnership with Accessorize Me, will be wowing both ladies and gentlemen in Welkom with an Egyptian fashion and jewellery extravaganza tomorrow at the Strip Building in Welkom.

The owner of L Azael Collections, Thabang Molefe, said fashion patrons can look forward to the summer collection that will capture the essence of Egyptian colours and richness,” said Molefe.

“Egypt is a land of the shifting desert sands; a land of the giant pyramids and historically a place of great rulers of the past. As an African country, Egypt has always been a symbol of power, royalty and plenty; that is why we have decided to make it the theme of the fashion show.”

Molefe, who is a former rugby player, has taken the fashion world by storm. He opened his fashion shop in the Strip Building and has already launched exclusive ranges for both men and women.

Accessorize Me, is a premier wholesaler of fashion jewellery and accessories. Situated in Welkom, the establishment will be decorating models in complementary fashion jewellery and accessories.

“Jewellery and accessories are synonymous with fashion. Jewellery played different roles in Egypt and can be found in gold, silver, turquoise and also agate. The ladies will be seen in different types of belts and other types of jewellery such as earrings, bracelets, anklets, rings and necklaces,” said Felix Mutsi, owner of Accessorize Me.

Most of the shops in the Strip Building will also be joining in the festivities of the Egyptian fashion and jewellery extravaganza.

The show will commence at 19:00, but people can start coming at around 18:00 for a buyers’ launch, where different shops will have their products on display and some of the items will be on discount.

People can look forward to seeing products from shops like Maradela exclusive men’s wear, Shooting stars, Derma touch, Mackey and Keke Professional hair studio, Elize Reo, and Jessyni travel.

“Everyday thousands of people walk past the Strip building on their way to the Goldfields Mall, without considering to come in and have a look around. That is why we as shop owners have decided to participate in this fashion extravaganza as a chance to let people know that we do not only have offices at the Strip building, but shops as well,” said Eusa Masupa, owner of Shooting Stars.

She said people need to know that the Strip Building is a one-stop business centre.

“Under one roof women can get their nails and hair done, while they’re waiting for their massage and still have enough time to go look for an outfit and brows for shoes.”

Molefe said for the summer collection, people can look forward to a line that is rich in colour and texture.

“Summer 2012 is all about bright colours and bold prints. Women fashion trends feature dazzling prints, eye-popping colours and mixing and matching. People can look forward to new ways of colour blocking, florals, neon colours, bright prints and maxi dresses,” he concluded.
