A group of seasoned session musicians, Pure Delicate Artistry (PDA) are set be provide sultry sounds at this year’s Vrystaat Arts Festival for lovers of jazz, soul and blues.
The local group has dazzled audiences on the main stage of the KKNK and MACUFE and had the privilege of working with Sibongile Khumalo and PJ Powers.
“We look forward to playing at home”, said Angelo Mockie of PDA.
According to Dr. Ricardo Peach, this is one of the key international art festivals on the African continent.
The Vrystaat Arts Festival takes place from July 1-7 at the University of the Free State’s Main Campus in Bloemfontein and will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in 2020.
Three shows will be presented on July 4-6 at the festival’s VIP Area on Campus. The line-up features vocalists Robyn Hope, Cinda and Tumelo on the sax; as well as fresh new sounds of Caribbean Cool Connexions from Barbados.
Tickets are available at the door, R250pp which includes a complimentary cognac and light meal.
