The Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (Pacofs) is inviting theatre practitioners to submit proposals for drama, dance, music, comedy and poetry productions to be considered for inclusion in the 2021/22 Artistic Programme.
The following information is required from all applicants; a synopsis of the production, motivation indicating why the production is relevant, entertaining, cutting edge and inspiring, production requirements (e.g technical Rider), company/individual information (such as biographies of the creative team), previous reviews of productions (if applicable), as well as a comprehensive production budget breakdown.
In a statement, Pacofs said preference will be given to Free State based artists, productions that address and embrace the South African national calendar of events, as well as productions that promote social cohesion and nation building.
Productions that promote indigenous languages will also be given preference.
Proposals will be evaluated by the Pacofs Artistic Panel.
The closing date for applications is Sunday, January 31.
